At Kids World Nursery & Preschool, we are committed to protecting your personal data and respecting your privacy. This Privacy Notice explains how we collect, use, store, and share your and your child’s information in line with the UK General Data Protection Regulation (UK GDPR), Data Protection Act 2018, and other relevant legislation.

For Parents/Guardians:

For Children: 
– Full name, date of birth, address 
– Health information (allergies, medical conditions) 
– Ethnicity, language, nationality (for funding and reporting)

– Safeguarding and welfare information

8. Use of Photos and Videos 

We may take photos/videos of your child for records, displays, social media, and marketing, you can always speak to the manager to withdraw . 
 
Consent can be withdrawn anytime. 

9. CCTV Monitoring 

For the safety and security of all children, staff, and visitors, Kids World Nursery & Preschool operates CCTV cameras within the premises. These cameras are installed in key areas, including entrance points, play areas, and communal spaces, to: 
– Enhance child protection and safeguarding. 
– Deter and monitor any inappropriate or suspicious activity. 
– Support the investigation of any incidents or accidents. 
 
Footage is securely stored and accessed only by authorised personnel when necessary. CCTV recordings are kept for a limited period, unless required for legal reasons.
